Privacy notice

1. Who we are

This notice covers demo requests and marketing enquiries submitted through this website. It is not the candidate privacy notice. Candidate data is handled by the delivery centre you enrol with. If you work on the platform, section 6 explains what happens when you use Skillzy, the helper on staff dashboards.

2. What we collect and why

When you request a demo we collect your name, work email, centre or company name and an optional time window. We use these details to arrange and follow up the demo. We keep them for 12 months, then delete them unless you become a customer, when they move into the customer record. We also record limited first-party events, such as page views, application starts, checkout clicks and lead submissions, to understand how this website is used. These events go to our database and do not set a cookie or identify you to an advertising network.

3. Where data is held

Database and file storage for the platform run on AWS eu-north-1 (Stockholm), in the European Union. The application is hosted on Vercel. Sub-processors for this data include Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and Sentry (error monitoring). A DPA is available on request.

4. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any exceptions that apply. Write to support@skillcertify.ae. This site sets no advertising cookies or third-party analytics and tracking scripts. For reliability we use Sentry error monitoring: when a page errors, a technical report (the error, browser type, page address) goes to Sentry; it sets no cookies here. 5. Job applications (Join us)

When you apply to work with us through Join us, an AI tool reads your CV and certificates to check them and suggest any gaps. A named member of our team makes every decision on your application; the AI tool never decides it. You can ask us to have a person review your application without AI. If your application is not successful we delete your documents after 6 months, unless you ask to join our talent pool.

6. Skillzy, the staff helper

Skillzy is a helper on staff dashboards. When you ask it a question, we send your question, the earlier messages in that chat, the page you are on, your roles and your centre's name to Anthropic, our AI provider, to write the answer.

If you ask about a candidate, a booking or your own work, Skillzy looks it up with your own access. It can only read what your dashboards already show you, and it cannot change anything. It sends the candidate's name, where their bookings, course, checks, tests and cards are up to, and the names of colleagues work is assigned to. It never sends email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses or dates of birth.

We do not keep the words of the chat. They stay on your screen until you reload the page or sign out. For each answer we keep an audit record: your account, the page, which records Skillzy read and how much it used. Each person can ask up to 80 questions a day. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models, and deletes it within 30 days, unless the law requires it to keep it longer, or its safety systems flag it (up to 2 years).

7. Your voice in AI-led discussions (assessors)

If you are an assessor, you can choose to turn on an AI voice. You read a consent statement and two short passages aloud in the browser. We store the recordings privately and send them to ElevenLabs, our voice provider, to make a copy of your voice and an AI interviewer that only you can use, for professional discussions with your own candidates.

We keep a record of your consent: the statement you read, when, a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address and the names of the files. The AI only asks your approved questions. It does not mark candidates; you review every recording and make every decision.

You can turn your AI voice off at any time on your AI discussions page. We then delete your voice and your AI interviewer at ElevenLabs and delete your recordings. Discussions already held stay as assessment evidence. No one else can make or use your voice.
